Tottenham now ‘interested’ in 25-G/A star after securing Xavi Simons transfer

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Brentford striker Yoane Wissa this summer.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away from Brentford, and Tottenham are one of the clubs ‘interested’ in securing his signature. However, Craig Hope has now revealed that the player wants to join Newcastle United instead.

Tottenham need Yoane Wissa

Wissa has been outstanding in the Premier League, and he scored 20 goals last season. He picked up five assists along the way as well. There is no doubt that he would be an excellent addition to Tottenham. They need more depth in the attacking unit. Dominic Solanke was mediocre last season, and he failed to score goals consistently. He needs more support, and Wissa would be ideal.

He has the quality and experience to make an instant impact at Tottenham. He is well settled in the Premier League.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince the player to join the club. They will be able to offer him UEFA Champions League football, and the presence of Thomas Frank could be a decisive factor as well. The player could be attracted to the idea of reuniting with his former manager.

Spurs could be the ideal move for Wissa

Wissa will want to compete at a high level , and he will look to fight for trophies. Tottenham recently won a European trophy, and they could be an attractive destination. The 28-year-old will be able to adapt to their style of football quickly as well. He knows the way Thomas Frank operates.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few days. Tottenham need to bring in a quality striker before the window closes. It remains to be seen whether they can plug the remaining gaps in their squad.
