Tottenham’s home nightmare continued as West Ham secured a crucial 2-1 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham suffered another devastating home defeat on Saturday afternoon as West Ham won 2-1 in the London derby. Crysencio Summerville gave the visitors an early lead in the 15th minute before Cristian Romero equalized for Spurs. However, Callum Wilson’s late strike, confirmed after a VAR review, sealed victory for Nuno Espírito Santo’s side. The result leaves Frank’s position hanging by a thread as Spurs remain 14th with 27 points.
The defeat represents another humiliating afternoon for Frank, whose side have now won just two home matches all season. West Ham climb out of the relegation zone with a vital three points.
We now take a look at how the Spurs stars fared today.
Guglielmo Vicario (5/10): Could do little about Summerville’s early opener but should have commanded his area better for Wilson’s late winner. Made a couple of routine saves but his positioning for the decisive goal was questionable.
Pedro Porro (4/10): Struggled defensively against Summerville’s pace and movement throughout. Porro’s crossing was inaccurate and his defensive positioning allowed West Ham to exploit space repeatedly down Tottenham’s right flank.
Cristian Romero (6/10): Scored Tottenham’s equalizer to give Spurs hope but couldn’t prevent Wilson’s late winner. The Argentine captain showed fighting spirit and leadership but was caught out of position for the decisive goal. Received a yellow card in first-half stoppage time.

Micky van de Ven (5/10): Made several important interceptions but couldn’t prevent West Ham’s dominance on the counter-attack. Van de Ven was isolated by poor organization around him as the visitors controlled dangerous moments.
Ben Davies (5/10): Played just 20 minutes before suffering a serious leg injury that forced him off. Davies looked solid enough defensively before the unfortunate injury, dealing adequately with Jarrod Bowen’s early threat. His forced departure disrupted Tottenham’s defensive organization at a crucial time.
Conor Gallagher (5/10): Made his Tottenham debut and showed flashes of his quality with intelligent movement and energy in midfield. Gallagher worked hard but couldn’t inspire a comeback as those around him struggled badly. Needs time to adapt to his new teammates.
Archie Gray (4/10): Received a yellow card for a dangerous challenge and was overrun in midfield. Gray struggled under West Ham’s press and his decision-making was poor in crucial moments as the visitors controlled the middle of the park.
Wilson Odobert (5/10): Showed flashes of pace and directness but was isolated for long periods. Odobert couldn’t unlock West Ham’s organized defense and was substituted late as Frank searched desperately for a winner.
Xavi Simons (5/10): Created several half-chances but his final ball lacked precision. Simons came close to scoring the winning goal late on but was denied brilliantly by Alphonse Areola. Faded as West Ham defended resolutely.
Mathys Tel (4/10): Another disappointing display from the young forward. Tel couldn’t impose himself on the game and offered little threat against West Ham’s center-backs before being substituted in the second half.
Randal Kolo Muani (5/10): Led the line with commitment but lacked adequate service throughout. Kolo Muani battled hard but clear chances never materialized as Tottenham struggled to create quality opportunities.
Djed Spence (3/10): Replaced the injured Ben Davies in the 20th minute and endured a nightmare afternoon. Spence struggled defensively down the left flank, looking completely uncomfortable in the position. His defensive positioning was poor throughout and he was exploited repeatedly by Jarrod Bowen, contributing to Tottenham’s defensive vulnerability.
Yves Bissouma (5/10): Replaced Gray at halftime as Frank attempted to regain control of midfield. Bissouma brought physicality and experience but couldn’t stem West Ham’s counter-attacking threat. His passing was tidy without being incisive, and he was unable to prevent Wilson’s late winner.
Dominic Solanke (5/10): Came on in the second half as Frank desperately searched for an equalizer. Solanke brought fresh energy and physicality.
Lucas Bergvall (N/A): Replaced Odobert towards the end of 90 minutes. Did not have an opportunity to affect the game.
