Tottenham plot £33.5m deal for attacker, player convinced about move after UCL qualification

Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Mathys Tel permanently during the summer transfer window, and the player is ready to join them.

According to a report from TBR Football, Tottenham have secured Champions League qualification and that has convinced the 20-year-old French attacker to join the club permanently. He is well settled at the London club, and he is enjoying his time in the Premier League.

Tottenham eye bargain move

Tottenham signed the player on loan during the January transfer window, and they had the option to sign him permanently for a fee of around £50 million this summer. However, they are unwilling to pay that kind of money for the player, and they are hoping to sign him for £33.5 million.

It will be interesting to see if they can secure an agreement with the German champions quickly. Bayern Munich do not see him as a key part of their plans, and they are prepared to sell the French attacker permanently this summer.

Mathys Tel could be useful

There is no doubt that he is an elite prospect, and he could be an important player for Tottenham in future. Even though he has not been able to showcase his true qualities so far, he has the potential to improve.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can manage to convince the German champions to accept a reasonable price for him. They need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and keeping the 20-year-old at the club beyond this summer would be ideal.

He is versatile enough to operate on either flank as well as centrally. His versatility will be a bonus for Tottenham during injuries and rotation. The player will look to improve on his performances next season and establish himself as a key player for Tottenham.
