Daniel Levy will be disappointed with how Tottenham’s season has developed; the club is currently sitting in a disappointing 14th place and are already out of all domestic competitions. The Europa League is their sole prospect of winning any silverware, so the back-to-back games against Frankfurt are essential. With this being the case, these games could determine their season.
Furthermore, Levy can no longer rationalise the lack of major investment when spending in transfer windows, particularly as Tottenham is due another significant financial boost in North London. As chairman, he is now heading into one of the most painful seasons of his leadership.
Tottenham’s dreadful form in the 2024/25 season has left Ange Postecoglou “99 per cent likely” to be sacked, sparking frustration among Spurs fans. Much of their anger has been directed at Daniel Levy, forcing the 62-year-old to appeal to the Tottenham faithful. However, with another major financial boost set for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following an announcement on Thursday, Levy has the perfect opportunity to quiet his critics by making significant investments in the squad this summer.
Levy is actively securing new deals and maximising resources, recently negotiating another major sponsorship agreement following a multi-million INEOS development. However, supporters remain frustrated with how the funds generated in North London are being utilised. With Tottenham set for another significant financial boost, Levy will have little choice but to approve marquee signings ahead of next season.
Tottenham News reports that the stadium will be a major entertainment hotspot, with top artists like Beyoncé, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and 50 Cent set to perform in N17. Chris Brown is the latest addition to the lineup, bringing his ‘Breezy Bowl 2025’ to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 21 June.

Tottenham have rarely made marquee signings and often hesitates to spend big, with Solanke remaining their record arrival at £65 million. However, fans are increasingly frustrated with Levy’s frugal transfer approach. With multiple deals in progress, Spurs may finally need to break the €80 million barrier to strengthen the squad and appease supporters.
Spurs’ commercial expansion is undeniably positive, but it also raises expectations among fans. With more than 17 years since their last trophy, supporters demand that the revenue generated from concerts and external events be reinvested into strengthening the squad.
