Victor Osimhen will be a highly desired player this summer transfer window, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain linked to the Napoli standout. Still, one team that should be ruled out is Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs appear to need a No. 9 for next season, but an expert believes that the north London-based club won’t be splurging on a goal-scorer this summer. It’s rumored that acquiring Osimhen could cost approximately €130 million for any interested club.

Journalist Tom Barclay believes that Osimhen is out of Tottenham’s price range despite the player’s desire to move to the Premier League.

“Spurs would never spend £100 million on one player, Osimhen will cost that type of money, and if I was a betting man, I’d say he was going to Paris-Saint Germain,” Barclay recently said on The Tottenham Way Podcast (h/t TDR).

This season, the 25-year-old has played in 31 matches for Napoli across various competitions, netting 17 goals and providing four assists.

Moreover, Italian journalist Valter De Maggio recently stated on Radio Kiss Kiss that while the goal is to play in the Premier League, it’s a move to Arsenal that the player desires this summer.
