Tottenham retain hopes of landing PSG outcast Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham Hotspur are facing one of their worst ever seasons in top-flight history. The Lilywhites are languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table. It is possible that the North London club finishes the season just a place above the relegation zone. Ange Postecoglou is also feeling the heat due to the mediocre performances in mestic competitions.

Spurs have faced an injury crisis this season that has impacted the results on the pitch. Many key players have been injured for most parts of the season and Big Ange has been forced to play youngsters in crucial games. The Lilywhites need to focus on bringing in reinforcements in the summer and bolster the squad depth for the upcoming campaign.

Key players have failed to step up as well for Tottenham this season. Club captain Heung-Min Son has struggled to get back to his best and has underperformed. Last summer’s statement signing Dominic Solanke has also struggled to find the back of the net consistently for the Lilywhites. Richarlison has also missed a lot of games through injury and has fallen down the pecking order under Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham want to sign PSG loanee Randal Kolo Muani

There is no secret that Tottenham are looking to add more quality to their attack in the summer. With Richarlison heading for the exit doors at N17, the Lilywhites will need to bring in a replacement quickly. Heung-Min Son is also facing an uncertain future at the club, so Daniel Levy will need to make sure that a quality forward is bought by the club for next season.

According to GiveMeSport, Spurs are interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from PSG. The France international has fallen out of favour under Luis Enrique and the Paris based club would be looking to cash in on him in the summer. Kolo Muani is currently playing for Juventus on loan until the end of the season, but he is all set to return to France as there is no buy option in his Juve contract.

The 26-year-old is also open for a move in the summer and wants to restart his career in a new environment. He was bought by PSG after a successful stint at Eintracht Frankfurt. But the move has not worked out at all and Spurs want to take advantage of the situation and sign the prolific striker.

The Frenchman has endured a stop-start campaign. He looked very bright when he first arrived in Turin, but his hype has since died down and Kolo Muani is now struggling to get back into rhythm in the Serie A. As per Sofascore, the 26-year-old has played 30 games in all competitions this season, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. It has not been a successful campaign by any means for the usually prolific striker.

However, he will fit in perfectly at Tottenham. The PSG loanee would provide a different dynamic to the attack and he would compliment Dominic Solanke’s game style as well. Kolo Muani is direct in his approach and tends to take on the defenders. He is also a fox in the box and likes to get to the end of the chances, rather than creating them.
