TRANSFER SAGA: Lazio & Hellas Verona’s Tijjani Noslin

This article follows the Transfer Saga concerning Lazio’s interest in Hellas Verona’s Tijjani Noslin. The 24-year-old Dutch attacker has been linked with a move to the Biancocelesti following a positive end to the 2023-24 campaign in Serie A.

He joined the Gialloblu in January from Fortuna Sittard for just €3 million only six months ago and became an instant hit at the Stadio Bentegodi. He cemented himself as the club’s top talisman, contributing with five goals and four assists in 17 Serie A appearances.

Hellas Verona President Maurizio Setti has set an €18 million price tag on Tijjani Noslin and has told his Lazio counterpart Claudio Lotito to close out a deal by the end of June. At the moment, the Biancocelesti’s best offer is €10 million plus €3 million in add-ons and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro in exchange, which hasn’t convinced the Gialloblu.

Talks between Lazio and Verona for Tijjani Noslin have intensified, with the two Club Presidents Claudio Lotito and Maurizio Setti in constant talks. The Biancocelesti are hoping to close the operation in a matter of days for around €15 million including bonuses.

Lazio have offered around €10 million plus add-ons to Hellas Verona for Tijjani Noslin, and could now look to include unneeded midfielder Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro in that deal. New Gialloblu coach Paolo Zanetti worked with the Ivorian midfielder at Empoli and would be happy to have him in the squad again.
