This article follows the Transfer Saga concerning Lazio and Manager Igor Tudor. Despite only being appointed in March of 2024 – taking over for Maurizio Sarri – due to Transfer Market misunderstandings and disagreements with President Claudio Lotito and Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani about players in the current squad, his future is up in the air.

Lazio have summoned Igor Tudor to Formello for decisive talks over his future. The Croatian’s future at the club remains in doubt, as he and the hierarchy could find themselves at odds regarding transfer plans. While departing Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano could be an option if he doesn’t sign for Bologna first, Alfredo Pedullà claims that Maurizio Sarri’s return could be on the cards.

Igor Tudor will have a direct meeting with President Claudio Lotito and the Lazio Directors in the coming hours at the Formello Training Grouns to plan out their Summer Transfer Market plans, the next steps and the project in the Italian capital, reports Matteo Moretto. Endless rumours have started to circulate regarding the future of the 46-year-old Italian coach, who signed an 18-month contract with an option for a further year when he replaced Maurizio Sarri back in March, with some suggestions that he could leave this summer

The fractured relationship between Igor Tudor and President Claudio Lotito could lead to the coach’s departure from Lazio this summer, forcing the club to find a replacement quickly. The Biancocelesti President has been in contact with Miroslav Klose, who is interested in bringing the former striker back to the capital, and developments are expected in the coming days.

Rumours have continued to circulate regarding the future of Igor Tudor at Lazio and four possible replacements have been highlighted. This list starts with Sergio Conceicao, who is fresh off the back of his time with Porto. Next is Raffaele Palladino, who commands respect at the Biancocelesti for his time with Monza and could be an idea. Third is Massimiliano Allegri following the end of his time with Juventus. Finally, there’s Miroslav Klose, who would be a lower-cost option that could excite the fans.

Bologna are looking for a replacement for Thiago Motta and are keen to convince Igor Tudor to take over, wanting to start a new project following their qualification to the Champions League. The Croatian coach is happy in the Italian capital with Lazio, but doubts are reportedly starting to grow slowly and things could change in the coming days.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Lazio would like to keep Igor Tudor at the helm, but this could leave them with a host of squad problems, as some players aren’t happy with the manager’s methods. Therefore, the club will soon hold talks with the Croatian Manager to discuss their market plans. If the two parties manage to reach a compromise, they will move forward together. Otherwise, they could opt for an early divorce. Vincenzo Italiano, Sergio Conceicao, and Raffaele Palladino have emerged as possible solutions.
