This article follows the Transfer Saga concerning Lazio’s interest in Salernitana’s Boulaye Dia. The 27-year-old Senegalese striker has been linked with a move to the Biancocelesti since April of 2024.

Since making the move to Italy, he has managed to find the back of the net 20 times in 50 appearances for the Granata in Serie A, also adding 6 assists. Dia is also a Senegal international, scoring six goals in 28 appearances to date.

Boulaye Dia has agreed to join Lazio. The agreement will be sealed and signed within the next 24 hours. Salernitana will receive around €11 million including bonuses; he is soon expected in Rome to undergo medicals before putting pen to paper on his contract.

Lazio’s primary transfer target Boulaye Dia enjoyed a stellar performance against Spezia in the Coppa Italia Round of 32, but it should go down as his final appearance for Salernitana as confirmed by the club’s new head coach Giovanni Martusciello after the match, suggesting that a Lazio transfer is now imminent.

Lazio are now seeking an agreement with the Agent of Boulaye Dia after reaching an accord with Salernitana over the player’s transfer. The two clubs have an agreement in place over an initial loan move with an obligation to buy set at €10 million in addition to bonuses; the Senegalese striker is set to earn a salary worth circa €1.2 million per year if the deal were to go through.

Lazio are suddenly on the cusp of signing Salernitana striker Boulaye Dia on the back of a swift onslaught. He will be signed on a deal worth €10 million plus €1 in bonuses; the Senegalese striker would thus reunite with Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani, who was the one who brought him to Serie A.

With Ciro Immobile set to join Besiktas, Lazio are now exploring their options on the market, and they could reportedly rekindle their interest in Salernitana’s Boulaye Dia, who they will try to secure an initial loan move with an obligation to buy set at €16 million.

Lazio are in the thick of talks with Salernitana for Boulaye Dia but the Senegalese striker is not keen to be a third-choice striker in the squad behind Ciro Immobile and Valentin Castellanos, forcing the Biancocelesti to find a way to convince the 27-year-old to give his green light to the deal.

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Lazio are seriously interested in Boulaye Dia and will soon open talks with Salernitana to understand the margins of a deal this summer.

Lazio are reportedly seeking an affordable agreement with Salernitana as they look to bring in Boulaye Dia to the Italian capital. The player currently has a buyout clause worth €20 million, but once it expires, Salernitana President Danilo Iervolino could be willing to do business for just €10 million.
