Trent Alexander-Arnold Faces Brutal Reception Before UCL Showdown With Real Madrid

Liverpool vs Real Madrid is always one of the classics in the Champions League and this match is one of the most anticpated games of the season.

Not only is there quality among both teams but many wanted to see how Liverpool fans at Anfield would recive their former vice-captian, Trent Alexander-Arnold, who left the club to join Real Madrid this past summer.

Alexander-Anorld's move to Real Madrid is seen as controversial as he left the club on a very small fee. Alexander-Arnold refused to sign a contact extension with Liverpool and inteded to leave the club for free.

The English right-back was at Liverpool since he was 6 years old but his move was very unpopular among the Liverpool faithful.

Anfield made their opinion on Alexander-Arnold heard as he came out to warm up ahead of the Liverpool vs Real Madrid match. As we walked onto the pitch, Anfield heavily booed the player and he was seen smiling.

Anfield Boos Trent Alexander-Arnold

Not only did Anfield boo Trent Alexander-Arnold went he walked onto the pitch, the Liverpool fans booed his name when the stadium announcer named the bench for Real Madrid.

As he was warming with the rest of the Real Madrid players on the bench, the boos were cleared targeted towards the former Liverpool player. The fans at Anfield are hevaily booing the player and the rest of the Real Madrid team.

Alexander-Anorld is expected to get minutes against Liverpool but he starts on the bench as he is not fully fit from his injury.
