Inter Milan took their goal total in all competitions to 101 for the current season with the five they put past Frosinone.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.

Inter had a second half to remember at the Stadio Benito Stirpe yesterday evening.

The Nerazzurri had emerged from the tunnel after halftime with a 1-0 lead. But by the time that referee Antonio Giua blew his final whistle, they had a much more emphatic advantage.

In truth, it was a somewhat harsh result on Frosinone.

Particularly in the first half of the match, the relegation-battlers had gone toe-to-toe with the champions.

But as the spaces started to really appear in the second half, the Nerazzurri’s quality became telling.

There were five different goals from five different scorers.

Those five goals – courtesy of Davide Frattesi, Marko Arnautovic, Tajon Buchanan, Marcus Thuram, and Lautaro Martinez – brought Inter to an important symbolic milestone for the season.

Prior to yesterday’s match, the Nerazzurri had scored 96 goals in all competitions this campaign.

Therefore, the team have now exceeded a hundred. Inter are in triple figures.

That is a testament to the consistency with which Inter find the back of the net.

The Nerazzurri had actually failed to score in last weekend’s league defeat against Sassuolo.

But that was the first time that Inter had not scored in the league all campaign long.

The only other match in which Inter did not score this season was a 0-0 draw against Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

Moreover, as yesterday evening’s match showed, Inter are capable of racking up big margins of victory.

There was a sequence of matches in the early spring which saw the Nerazzurri beat all of Salernitana, Lecce, and Atalanta by 4-0 scorelines.
