Juventus coach Igor Tudor admitted that it ‘doesn’t happen every day’ to meet the US President at the White House after the Bianconeri visited Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Wednesday.
Juventus made their 2025 Club World Cup debut on Wednesday, but just a few hours before kick-off, they met US President Trump in the Oval Office at the White House.
Tudor briefly spoke about the meeting with the American President during a post-match press conference, as quoted by Gazzetta.
“We were invited to the White House, and that’s not something you do every day. It was a pleasure,” Tudor said.
The Croat addressed the media after a convincing 5-0 win over Al Ain.
Randal Kolo Muani and Francisco Conceiçao scored two goals each, with the remaining one netted by Turkish talent Kenan Yildiz.
Juventus’ Club World Cup opponents
Juventus’ next Club World Cup game is against Wydad AC at the Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, on June 22 at 12:00 LT (18:00 CEST).
The Moroccan side lost 2-0 to Manchester City on Wednesday.
Tudor has recently signed a contract extension with Juventus, which will run until June 2027.
