
Tunisia and Uganda will play each other on the third day of the 2025 AFCON in Morocco. Both teams are in Group C along with Nigeria and Tanzania.
Tunisia is among the few African nations that qualified for the 2026 World Cup after an almost perfect World Cup qualifier campaign.
Tunisia was in Group H in the World Cup qualifiers in Afrcia and after 10 matches played, Tunisia finished first in their group with 28 points, following nine wins and one draw.
Uganda did not qualify for the 2026 World Cup after finishing second in Group G of the CAF World Cup qualifiers. Uganda has 18 points with a record of six wins and four losses after 10 matches.
Despite finishing second, Uganda did not advance to the next round for the qualifiers as they weren't among the best four 2nd place teams.
Ahead of the 2025 AFCON, Uganda lost 4-0 to Morocco in November. Tunisia played a friendly match against Jordan and Brazil last month, where they won 3-2 over Jordan and drew 1-1 with Brazil.
Tunisia's second team participated in the Arab Cup this month. The team was in Group A of the competiton but they were eliminated after three group stage matches. Tunisia finished third with four points and a record of one win, one draw, and one loss.
Tunisia lost 1-0 to Syria, drew 2-2 with Palestine, and won 3-0 over Qatar.
Tunisia vs Uganda kicks off at 3 p.m. ET/ 12 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. local time in Rabat, Morocco, at the Stade Olympique de Rabat.
The match will be available to watch across select TV channels and streaming services in the United States and other countries.
