Hakan Calhanoglu returns to Appiano Gentile today to rejoin the Inter Milan squad amid another rumor-packed summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, a challenging period is ahead of the 31-year-old.

Like last summer, Calhanoglu’s future is among the major talking points.

Indeed, the Turk was on Bayern Munich’s radar 12 months ago, while Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are now keen on him.

However, the San Siro giants seem on the verge of weathering another storm.

After missing the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup due to injury, Hakan Calhanoglu rejoins Cristian Chivu’s squad.

Indeed, Lautaro Martinez and Beppe Marotta openly criticized the former AC Milan midfielder.

Therefore, Calhanoglu must make amends with the two most influential figures at the club to restore harmony within the dressing room.
