Yellow cards for Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer in today’s match against Wolves means that both will miss Wednesday’s game against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea have more yellow cards than anyone in the Premier League, a great indicator of both a total lack of composure and discipline in the squad, plus of how badly we are playing. 20th placed Sheffield United are second in the table, if you were wondering.

Plenty of fans won’t be too frustrated with losing Sterling, given his gaffe today, but if we’re being realistic, having him is better than not having him.

With 2 of our favoured front 3 out, we just have to hope that Christopher Nkunku is ready by Wednesday. Otherwise we will be lining up with an Armando Broja and Nicolas Jackson front 2, flanked by Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke. Would you be confident playing a Championship team with that front 4 at the moment? We’re not sure we would.
