Juventus players Fabio Miretti and Alex Sandro have rejoined their teammates in training ahead of Sunday’s clash against Inter Milan.

The young Italian midfielder suffered from lower back pain which saw him dropping out of the Italy U21 squad.

For his part, the Brazilian veteran has been out of action since sustaining an injury in August.

But according to Tuttosport via FcInterNews, Miretti and Sandro will be available for selection after resuming training.

Max Allegri will be able to count on the services of the returning duo. However, the Juventus boss is still facing headaches on the injury front.

As the source tells it, Manuel Locatelli remains a major doubt for the Bianconeri.

The 25-year-old fractured his rib during the Old Lady’s most recent contest against Cagliari. This knock kept him out of Italy’s last two Euro 2024 qualifiers.

The report believes the next 48 hours will be decisive in determining if Locatelli will be fit enough to take part in the clash.

Juventus Stars Alex Sandro & Fabio Miretti Return For Inter Milan Clash – Manuel Locatelli Remains Doubtful

The former Sassuolo man has been a stalwart in Allegri’s 3-5-2 formation, operating as a deep-lying playmaker.

Juventus club captain Danilo will certainly miss out on the Derby d’Italia after failing to recover in time. Timothy Weah will also skip this one due to an injury relapse.

Finally, Weston McKennie returned early from international duty after sustaining tendonitis.

Nevertheless, the source claims the American’s condition isn’t worrying. Thus, the 25-year-year-old should be available for selection.
