Two Serie A sides are interested in signing Sebastiano Esposito from Inter this summer, including Fiorentina, who could be set to make a formal approach for the 22-year-old Italy striker, Football Italia understands.

Esposito could be set to leave the Nerazzurri in the coming days. He will be in the final year of his contract in the 2025-26 season, which means that a permanent departure is on the cards.

As reported over the weekend, Fiorentina are keen on taking the 22-year-old on after his loan spell with Empoli in Serie A last term, during which he netted eight top flight goals plus two goals from two appearances in the Coppa Italia in 2024-25.

Fiorentina, who have a deal in place for Jacopo Fazzini and are also looking at Mattia Viti, are targeting a number of young, Italian players this window.

La Viola are also expected to be on the lookout for a new striker following their decision to not pay the €17m buy-option in their loan deal with Genoa for Iceland international Albert Gudmundsson.

Meanwhile, Parma also remain keen on a deal with the Nerazzurri for Esposito, as they are increasingly likely to part ways with Ange-Yoan Bonny, who is likely to move in the other direction to San Siro.
