UFC Legend Daniel Cormier Endorses WWE Fan Favorite on X

Wrestling is flirting with having another Renaissance period. After TKO ousted Vince McMahon from power, Triple H has done a masterful job as the head booker. He has plenty of faults, but the company hasn't been this creatively ambitious and fulfilling since the Attitude Era.

This boom period has helped the business garner newfound levels of mainstream respect and attention, with anyone from Lamine Yamal to Vanessa Hudgens popping up at live events. UFC legend Daniel Cormier hasn't been shy about his love for WWE and recently took to social media to endorse an underutilized fan favorite.

Cormier took to his X account to give Karrion Kross his flowers. "Karrion Kross is awesome!" Cormier wrote. "Keep doing your thing, @realKILLERkross!!!! @WWE."

Kross has garnered a lot of online praise over the last few weeks after cutting numerous promos about his frustration with his current standing in the company. The promotion rarely uses him as an in-ring competitor, with his most recent match being a four-minute loss to Dragon Lee on Main Event. He's so talented on the mic that not receiving a viable push with six hours of primary programming is incomprehensible.

At 39 years old, Kross still has plenty of time to develop into a marquee name. It would be great to see what he can do in the mid-card title scene while continuing this fascinating gimmick of trying to turn everyone he interacts with heel. Kross showed his range in NXT and now just needs a consistent platform to showcase his abilities to a broader audience.

It's great to see Cormier give the veteran such a public and positive rub.
