‘Unequivocally rejected’ Lewis Family effectively call-out Brooklyn Earick ‘offer’ as specious

Never a dull moment for Tottenham fans. One minute, you’re shouting ‘Levy out!’ and the next, some DJ claiming to have once worked for NASA is looking to replace the little bald man.

The BBC are running with a frankly damning reaction piece to the deal we broke yesterday, which contains a quote that is difficult to misinterpret. The Lewis Family are clearly not interested in their business being discussed by anyone.

“A source close to the Lewis family also reiterated that the club is not for sale and said, “this unsolicited and unnecessary interest does nothing to change the family’s resolve and commitment to do whatever it takes to drive success on the pitch”.

The BBC describe Earrick as a former DJ who also worked in spacecraft research for NASA before founding Redacted RnD, which focuses on technology, media, sport and entertainment, which in itself is a curious CV to possess.

Given today’s news that a deal with Sports Illustrated Tickets has been signed, Tottenham certainly don’t look as if it is still preparing to sell, and that a steady hand is now upon the tiller.

One fan online was spotted to quip that Brooklyn Earick was as much of a Tech Entrepreneur as Eric Dier was, which probably sums up just how specious a deal this all was.
