Former Arsenal defender Matthew Upson was impressed by last night's Champions League win against Sevilla.

Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard scored in the 2-0 win.

Upson told BBC Sport: "It was a very dominant performance from Arsenal. They moved the ball well and fashioned some good chances with some nice passing movements.

"The goals I thought were excellent, very 'Arsenal-like' in terms of how they came about - the running off the ball, the dynamic pace and how decisive Gabriel Martinelli was was the key for Arsenal . It really made life a lot easier in how they pulled Sevilla apart, but you have to reference how bad Sevilla were in the first half. They just didn't turn up to make a game of this and they'll go home feeling really disappointed in themselves.

"It's about taking the pressure off the last couple of games in the Champions League. If it's tight, those games start to become really big so the preparation around those can start to distract you from important Premier League matches.

"But I think Arsenal can trudge on and really focus on the Premier League and then address these Champions League matches as they close in on securing qualification through to the next round [with one more point needed]."
