USMNT Legend Makes Unpopular Christian Pulisic Prediction Before World Cup 2026

Christian Pulisic is once again praised as one of the best players from the United States ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The prestigious tournament is nine months away, and his level on the pitch continues to impress.

Pulisic has six goal contributions in six matches with AC Milan so far at the start of this season.

The American forward scored three goals in his last two games with AC Milan: two against Udinese in the Serie A and one against Lecce in the Coppa Italia.

With his performances improving ahead of the World Cup, Alexi Lalas praised Pulisic and believes he will eventually be regarded as one of the best American players of all time.

On his podcast, Alexi Lalas' State on the Union, Alexi Lalas praised Pulisic highly by predicting that he will eventually be regarded as the best male American player ever.

One of the discussions in the past few months is the question of who would be a part of the Mount Rushmore of the USMNT. Although Pulisic's career is still not over, many fans believe that he should already receive that Mount Rushmore recognition.

Lalas sees the 2026 World Cup as the perfect opportunity for Pulisic to make a statement and possibly be an undisputed candidate for everyone's USMNT Mount Rushmore.

"The Rushmore thing is interesting because I think it certainly relates to what you have done," said Alexi Lalas.

Alexi Lalas continued and said, "Well, he has scored in the World Cup and he has played in a World Cup. Owning a World Cup, which is on offer for next summer for him and this national team, I think that would shut up any people out there that are arguing against that."
