The USWNT will face New Zealand in a friendly match at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, kicking off at 8:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Over the last few weeks, the USWNT have had mixed results. They opened this October window with a 2-1 defeat to Portugal — the first time the U.S. have ever lost to the European side — before bouncing back with a convincing 3-1 win in the following match.

New Zealand, meanwhile, are coming off two back-to-back friendly losses to Mexico (1-0 and 2-0), showing vulnerability on set pieces and conceding early goals.

In 2025, the Football Ferns have won just two of their last ten matches, averaging 0.8 goals scored and 1.5 conceded per game — a sign of their struggles against top-tier opponents.

Injuries and Absences for USWNT vs. New Zealand

The USWNT are entering this fixture with a few key absences. Most notably, forward Trinity Rodman is sidelined after suffering an MCL sprain during club duty, ruling her out of the friendly against New Zealand.
