Brighton will learn from any disappointments they experience in the Europa League this season, says fullback Joel Veltman.

The Albion have not made a good start to the group stages so far this season.

While they are flying in the Premier League, Veltman admits they have to adapt to European football and playing two games a week.

Veltman said, per The Argus: It's the first time for the club, so we need to get used to it including me.

The last time I played a European game was with Ajax five years ago so it's really tough.

Maybe we underestimated how difficult it is, playing on Monday and Thursday, the traveling to Marseille and getting back late, then training on the Friday afternoon."
