Kevin De Bruyne is back in the action – and back amongst the goals. Belgium lead Denmark 2-1 thanks to a fine finish from the Manchester City talisman.

De Bruyne, who suffered facial fractures during the Champions League final, missed Belgium’s opening group game against Russia.

However, with the Red Devils trailing 1-0 to Denmark at the half-time break, Roberto Martinez felt it necessary to bring him into the action.

What a decision that has proven to be.

De Bruyne played a starring role in Belgium’s equaliser, leaving two Denmark defenders on their backsides as he set up Thorgan Hazard for a tap-in.

He’s now got a goal of his own, firing into the bottom corner from the edge of the penalty area. A stunning finish from a truly world-class midfielder.

Belgium, who are ranked no. 1 in the world, were less than convincing in the opening 45 minutes. They’ve been sensational since the break.

There’s no coincidence here – De Bruyne has changed the game.
