Video: Pioli leaves Milan and receives tributes

Stefano Pioli signed autographs for fans outside Milanello before leaving the Rossoneri training ground while his players and the club honoured the coach on social media.

Milan confirmed Pioli’s departure at the end of the season with an official statement on Friday.

The Rossoneri will play the last game of the season at San Siro tomorrow against already-relegated Salernitana.

Pioli signed autographs before leaving Milanello today, as shown by Sky Sport Italia. Fans outside the gates of the club’s training ground honoured the coach with the classic chant ‘Pioli is on fire.’

Milan published a touching video after confirming Pioli’s exit while Theo Hernandez thanked the Parma-born tactician on Instagram.

“Thank you for what you did for me and this Milan. I wish you the best,” wrote the France international.
