Milan star Rafael Leao seemingly reacts to whistles from Milan fans with a video that sums up his best 2023 moments where he’s heard saying: ‘Criticism pushes me, so keep talking, I speak on the field.’

Leao was booed by some Milan fans at San Siro on Saturday during a 1-0 win over Sassuolo.

The Portuguese striker scored his last Serie A goal in September.

He appeared to react to boos from Milan fans with an Instagram video with his best moments of 2023. The video includes a post-match interview from last season when the 24-year-old said: “Criticism pushes me, so keep talking, I speak on the field.”

Leao also wrote: “I’ll be always me vs me … thank u 2023, 2024 we coming for more.” 

The Portuguese striker has received support from his teammates Alessandro Florenzi and Davide Calabria after the victory over Sassuolo.
