Multiple reports in Italy claim that Dusan Vlahovic is unwilling to leave Juventus anytime soon, complicating the Old Lady’s plans to sign Jonathan David.
Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport report that Juventus striker Vlahovic is unwilling to leave Turin before June 2026, when his contract with the Serie A giants expires.
The Serbia international has already rejected an offer from Fenerbahce and hasn’t received formal proposals from any top club.
Vlahovic is in no rush to leave Juventus and is very much open to waiting until June 2026, when he’ll be free to pick his new club after earning €12m in his final season at Juventus.
This, however, complicates Juventus’ plans to sign Canada international David, who has already agreed to personal terms with the Bianconeri and is waiting for his agents’ green light to finalise the deal.
According to Gazzetta, Juventus plan to sign David, retain Randal Kolo Muani, and sell Vlahovic, three moves that will also enable the club to reduce their wage bill.
However, if Vlahovic refuses to walk away, Juventus will be forced to wait to finalise the David deal with the risk of missing out on the Lille forward, who is available on a free transfer.
