Dusan Vlahovic’s future remains uncertain, although the Juventus forward has surely turned down Fenerbahce’s approach and held talks with Massimiliano Allegri. Meanwhile, Milan must find a way to make the deal financially viable.
Vlahovic’s future at Juventus is beyond uncertain as the striker’s contract expires in June 2026.
The Serbia international has already received an offer from José Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, but sources tell me that the Turkish club’s approach has been rejected for now.
I can also confirm that Vlahovic has held talks with his former Juventus coach, Allegri, who Milan recently appointed.
Allegri pushed to sign Vlahovic at Juventus in January 2022 and would love to reunite with the 25-year-old striker at San Siro.
Milan, however, must work on the financial side of the deal. The transfer fee may not be too high, given that Juventus could be happy to release Vlahovic for €30m, as his contract expires in a year.
The biggest issue would be the striker’s salary as Vlahovic will earn €12m per season in the 2025-26 campaign.
There will soon be new updates on Vlahovic, with Milan among the clubs monitoring him.
“I spoke with Dusan last week. The player should return shortly, and I want to talk to him [again] to understand what he has in mind,” Comolli explained at a press conference earlier this week.
“He is a top player, but something didn’t work. I realise it’s not enough, I don’t know who is to blame. I have to talk to the player and understand, there’s no doubt he’s a top player. We need to understand what his intentions are.”
