CSKA Moscow star Nikola Vlasic wants to try and force his hand and get a move to AC Milan but his club are playing hardball, a report claims.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), the attacking midfielder is one of the candidates to replace Hakan Calhanoglu and is pushing for CSKA Moscow to let him make his dream move to the Rossoneri.

However, the Russian Premier League club are making a wall for the moment as they are asking for €30m to sell Vlasic to Milan in this summer transfer market. In the player’s contract there is a release clause of €35m valid only for foreign teams, but CSKA have accepted that they may not be table to collect that much.

Milan want to sign Vlasic on a paid loan for €5m with an option to buy set at €20m plus bonuses. CSKA, on the other hand, would like to raise cash with an outright sale or a loan with obligation to buy, a formula that for now does not convince the Milan management.

CSKA coach Aleksey Berezutski confirmed that Vlasic could leave, but that he will not be allowed to go with any kind of discount.

“Vlasic and his entourage must understand that the club will not sell him for nothing. Nikola costs a lot and has a clause. Vlasic has said many times that he wants to change the air and wants to play at higher levels. This is football. The club are still ready to sacrifice him,” he said.
