Bruno Fernandes was unhappy with the officials when the full-time whistle blew at Villa Park.

Manchester United threw away a two-goal lead when Aston Villa scored two goals in the second-half.

The home side came out the better side after the break and United couldn’t hold onto the lead after scoring against the run of play as Bruno Fernandes completed a brace.

Fernandes was booked in the game, rightly for a reckless challenge, but the referee ignored Douglas Luiz’s stamp on the Portuguese star.

The Villa midfielder stood on the back of Fernandes’ knee but the referee deemed it accidental.

Why Bruno Fernandes was annoyed at full-time

Fernandes explained that he was unhappy because Villa were allowed to make a 4th sub (usually only allowed for head injuries) but Buendia had hurt his shoulder.

It was another disappointing night for United but the game went similarly to Monday night other than the fact we failed to win.

That tells you United didn’t learn from their mistakes.
