Paris Saint-Germain fell 2-1 to Manchester City on matchday five of the UEFA Champions League group stage. The first half saw both squads play to a 0-0 draw, but the capital club would open up the scoring following a Kylian Mbappé goal.

However, Manchester City would respond by scoring two consecutive goals that guided them to the victory and winning Group A over the French giants. Following the match, manager Pep Guardiola spoke to Canal Plus to discuss his club’s win over Les Parisiens

“It was a game similar to the first leg in a lot of areas. Maybe we had more chances here than in Paris, but that’s normal,” Guardiola said.

“Congratulations to the players for qualifying. It was a great game for us. Typical City goals? We score in a different way, but yes, it’s a typical City goal. The passes, movement, and tempo were very good.”
