Real Madrid were frustrated by Valencia in the first half of Friday's La Liga game at the Bernabeu but things changed after the interval.
Marco Asensio scored his fourth club goal of the season to fire Real with a long-range thunderbolt on 52 minutes.
No La Liga team has scored more goals from outside of the penalty area than Real.
Real's second goal arrived two minutes and 18 seconds after their first.
It came courtesy of Vinicius Junior, who displayed incredible pace to speed away from fellow Brazilian Gabriel Paulista before finishing coolly.
Vinicius had been inside his own half when Karim Benzema played the ball into his path.
It took six seconds from when Vinicius crossed the halfway line to the moment the ball entered the Valencia goal.
