Hakim Ziyech’s impact on Sunday’s game was huge, both in scoring the opening goal and creating most of his team’s threat.

The position he played in suited him perfectly, and he had plenty of opportunities to hurt the opposition.

There was a wicked angled cross to the far post which Callum Hudson-Odoi almost got on the end of, there was the wonderful left footed goal to open the scoring, there another fierce strike a moment later, and there was a brilliant punched through ball which floated invitingly ahead of several attacking players who couldn’t make the most of it.
