Watch: Simon Jordan can’t believe anyone will pay £3bn for Chelsea

As a former owner of a Premier League club, Simon Jordan has been making the most of the Chelsea sale on TalkSport, as he’s able to spout nonsense and sound authoritative.

His latest take is that nobody should or will pay £3bn for Chelsea – which would make it the most expensive sports team ever.

Let’s remember that Jordan’s big tip for who would end up owning Chelsea was Woody Johnson, who didn’t even make the shortlist.

To be fair, the prices we have seen mentioned so far are closer to £2.5bn than £3bn. But the fact that Jordan thinks the same is making us doubt ourselves.
