Chelsea have been outrun in every game they’ve played in the league this season, and clearly want to do something about it.

Chelsea’s last Premier League game was a disaster. The Blues needed a win over Everton, and instead they got beaten handily 3-0.

It put them into the international break on a real negative, and even a big win against Port Vale last weekend hasn’t fully erased that. One of the notable stats from the game was how Chelsea had been outrun in the game – and in fact had been outrun in every game this season. There was a big debate about how bad this actually was, and Liam Rosenior addressed it in his press conference after the game.

Chelsea get stuck into physical preparation for Man City

Maybe it’s no coincidence, then, that the social media accounts at the club are very focused on the physical preparation for Man City this weekend. There’s been a slew of videos and photos on the club’s Twitter page pointing out how much running they’re doing.

Of course, it takes more than hard running to win in the Premier League, especially against a top team like City. But you’re not going to win without it either, so it’s nice to see the criticism has been taken on board.

Jacobo Ramon is another player we’ve seen get linked to Chelsea a lot – but it seems like we might have a major rival for his signature.

Enzo Fernandez got in trouble for his comments during the international break, and Ben Jacobs was asked what he thought Chelsea’s position on them was.
