Wayne Rooney is a Manchester United legend, and a name recognised by United fans all over the world.
The striker, who officially retired from playing football in 2021 whilst with Derby County, made 393 appearances for the Red Devils in his time with the club and scored 183 appearances.
But, since his retirement from playing football, Rooney has engaged in a number of different fields with football management one of these.
In the latter stages of last year, Wayne Rooney had been at Plymouth Argyle managing the side in the Championship.
However, following a bad run of form, the former United striker was sacked from the role.
Since then, he has not returned to management but did reject a managerial offer from Macclesfield Town who currently play in non-league.
Meanwhile, away from football management, the former Derby player has expressed a desire to come out of retirement and return to the field.
Now, away from football completely, Wayne Rooney has blamed children’s character Mr Tumble for him getting a vasectomy.
Speaking on his “The Wayne Rooney Show,” Rooney stated: “I hate Mr Tumble.” “I was in the dressing room for Match of the Day and he was next to me.
“The reason I hate him, well I don’t hate him for what he does, is just that I’ve had to sit through it four times with every kid.
“It’s got to the point now where I just can’t.
“He’s the reason I’ve got the snip. I couldn’t have another kid to go through it again.”
With Wayne Rooney making this personal remark on his show, he has revealed that he has undertook a vasectomy, meaning he can not have anymore children.
For the United legend, this arguably marks a major step in his personal life.
