Wayne Rooney arrived at Manchester United as a teenager in 2004 and quickly became one of the best players the club has ever seen.

He started his time at Old Trafford in the best way possible by scoring three goals in his very first game against Fenerbahce.

During his thirteen years at the club, he scored 253 goals in 559 matches, which made him United’s all-time top scorer.

He helped the team win five Premier League titles and was a key part of the side that won the Champions League in 2008.

Rooney won almost every trophy available to him, including the FA Cup, the Europa League, and the League Cup three times.

Most fans will never forget his amazing overhead kick against Manchester City, which is still talked about as one of the greatest goals in football history.

As he got older, he became the club captain and was known for working incredibly hard for the rest of the team in many different positions.

Now that his time on the pitch is over, he is getting ready to show the world what his life is like away from football as he invites cameras into the home he shares with his wife and four sons.

Wayne and Coleen Rooney are set to invite the public into their home with a brand-new 10-part documentary series on Disney+, according to The Mirror.

Provisionally titled The Rooneys, the show aims to reveal a side of the couple that fans have never seen before after more than twenty years together.

Coleen is said to be the driving force behind the project, as she looks to build on her recent TV success and prove she is much more than just a footballer’s wife.

While the cameras will follow her latest business ventures, viewers will also get to see Wayne swapping the dugout for the daily school run with their four sons.

However, some experts have warned that opening up their private lives in such a big way could put a lot of extra strain on their marriage.

A top psychologist suggested that the intense pressure of being on screen might risk the stability they have worked hard to keep through many ups and downs.

Ultimately, while Coleen is keen to show the world their real lives, some concerns being this open could eventually backfire on the family.
