Harry Kane holds the unwanted record for the most goals scored in the Premier League and still not to have got his hands on that all important and precious Premier League medal. Why does the English captain have to move on from the North London club?

Backwards, it’s 18 months to the day that Tottenham Hotspur hired Jose Mourinho as their new manager he was sacked six days before the 2021 EFL Cup final, with Spurs four points behind the Premier League top four. Spurs lost the final and are now seven points behind the top four. The man that has won trophies wherever he went as a manager wasn’t even given the chance to deliver one at the North London club.

Mauricio Pochettino, was the ultimate manger for Spurs he served his time managing at Espanyol, Southampton and then graduated to the Tottenham job and played a huge part in assembling the talented squad that Spurs have and was hugely passionate about the club. What happened? He had a fallout with the headman at Spurs Daniel Levy and was shown the door, supposedly it was over trying to bring in new players and was turned down the funds.

You get what you deserve, Harry Kane has given everything for the North London club since coming from Watford back in 2004 and owes that club absolutely nothing and Tottenham Hotspur fans know that all too well. Daniel Levy had the opportunity with a good young manager in Pochettino, players like Son, Kane, Ali and others that he left go like Walker and Eriksen I know they have build a state of an art stadium and it’s the envy of many’s the Premier League club. But there comes a time when you get your chance to strike and that was the time to do so and Spurs could be a in a very different place than they are now. Rather then talking about letting go their key-man up front.

Where to for Harry Kane? Harry Kane could go anywhere in Europe he’s that good a player and still only 27 and coming into his best years. Would he go across London to Chelsea where they are in the Champions League final or would be go up north to either of the Manchester Clubs? Or even to the Spanish game in Real Madrid or Barcelona? Or indeed Bayern Munich in Germany? Guessing where Harry Kane will move to this summer is a bit like playing roulette at an online casino!

My bet Chelsea, Chelsea is the right call I couldn’t see Kane learning a new language and Chelsea’s missing link is someone to finish off all those chances, as Werner is still struggling to do so. Manchester United has the name, but sadly I still think they are a bit off even if they add Harry Kane and Manchester City do need a new striker to replace Sergio Aguero who is leaving the Manchester Club after ten years. I just think with a young family not having to uproot and leaving London is a big advantage for the blue side of London. Watch this space…
