Benjamin Sesko's Injury Update

Reports from Manchester suggest that Benjamin Sesko is dealing with a shin injury and it got worse during the match against Liverpool last weekend.

Michael Carrick did not give a specific update on Sesko during the press conference ahead of the match against Sunderland.

Carrick said, "I think every player in the squad has been fantastic... Some have played more than others. It's been difficult, but the respect the players have shown each other is great to see and what we need. That's the challenge of training and not having as many games, a balance we've had to make the most of."

Just before kickoff, Carrick confirmed the shin problems Sesko has and said, "Ben's been carrying a shin problem for some time, and he took another quite a big bang on it. Obviously, he had to come off last week, so he wasn't ready today."
