The Belgian goalie has been impressive in the games that he has started for United since making his surprise transfer to Old Trafford in the summer window. And he should be in line for another opportunity to take up the gloves and show his abilities between the sticks.

Back three: Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw

Going into the defensive line. Luke Shaw has been playing some impressive games of late. It looks like he is finally coming into his own in that left centre-back role. And then going into the middle, the man who is beaming with confidence, Harry Maguire, will take charge of proceedings. He will be tasked with keeping track of Danny Welbeck but then use his experience to maintain the shape.

Then De Ligt takes charge of proceedings down that right centre-back role. His abilities and composure in 1v1 situations will come quite handy, especially if Mitoma starts in that channel for Brighton.

Midfield: Amad Diallo, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot

Dalot will give that width down the left side as he takes up the spot from Dorgu, who has found it difficult to settle into life in the Premier League. And on the other side, Amad will take charge at right wing-back. He has been really impressive of late. He manages that needed balance between offence and defence quite well.

Casemiro takes up the defensive midfield spot again. Coming in from that strong performance at Anfield. And with him, Bruno starts again in that deeper role. You’d still expect him to be a bit of a floater.

Forward: Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, Cunha

Given his goal against Liverpool, Mbeumo takes up that right-wing place. He and Amad on the overlaps have given that right channel a good sense of balance. And Cunha (who started down the middle last weekend) will take up that left flank role again while Sesko comes down the middle.
