Wolves midfielder Mario Lemina has lifted the lid on his veteran teammate Diego Costa.

The Spaniard, a former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid star, scored his first Premier League goal since 2017 to push his team closer to safety.

Lemina, who previously played in the Premier League for Southampton, admits that having Costa as a teammate is not always easy.

He's a funny character, a big joker," he said to The Mail.

He could just be the old man but he is not. He's working really hard and putting us players under pressure all the time in training.

Everything he thinks, he does! He doesn't care if it will hurt anyone, he just does it. We just try and stay away from him.

He puts ice baths over you and various crazy things. My jacket he put shampoo on it. He's a hard worker and a good guy."
