Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni believes Inter Milan are “not pulling out of talks” to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.

Zazzaroni took to Instagram to deny that the Nerazzurri are taking a step back in their efforts to sign the Nigerian international.

Inter Milan’s pursuit of Ademola Lookman has become the transfer soap opera of the summer.

The Nigerian international has done everything he can to push for the move. He has not been in training for over a week, having made a very public transfer request last weekend.

Meanwhile, Atalanta have rejected two bids from the Nerazzurri. Most recently an offer worth €45 million with add-ons.

Zazzaroni: “Inter Not Pulling Out Of Talks For Ademola Lookman”

Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni writes on social media, “Always with respect to everyone’s sources, and since I’ve been asked: I’m not aware of Inter pulling out of talks.”

“They’re still waiting for a response from Atalanta,” he continues.

“Even though Percassi continues to avoid making his intentions known.”

“After all the fuss that Ademola kicked up, Marotta and Ausilio are not going to leave him on his own,” Zazzaroni adds.
