Zilliacus: Zhang deserves full thanks from Inter Milan fans

Inter Milan bidder Thomas Zilliacus has paid tribute to former president Steven Zhang.

Zhang and Suning gave up ownership of Inter last week to Oaktree.

Zilliacus has held past talks with Zhang about buying Inter and said: "Fantastic work by an exceptional person.

"Steven Zhang became president at 24 years old with no experience in football, but he managed to earn the full respect of the most experienced veterans.

"All Inter fans must thank him for the extraordinary work he has done done for the club."
