After being long linked with a move to Juventus, Joshua Zirkzee is now emerging as a concrete target for Inter, who are looking to reshape their attacking options this summer.

The Dutchman is nearing the end of a disappointing season at Manchester United, having scored just seven goals in 48 appearances across all competitions — a return that casts serious doubt on his future at Old Trafford.

Inter eye Zirkzee as key option to reinforce attack

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Zirkzee’s struggles in England could work in Inter’s favour, potentially allowing the Nerazzurri to open negotiations on more favourable terms for a player who has already proven his worth in Serie A.

A blend of technique, physical presence, and flair makes the 23-year-old an ideal addition to Simone Inzaghi’s squad — a versatile option who could provide cover and competition for Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.

Zirkzee is, unsurprisingly, one of the names high on Inter’s shortlist for the summer window.

The Nerazzurri are also optimistic about the financial feasibility of a deal, as they plan to propose a loan with an option to buy — which could become an obligation under certain conditions.

Having paid around €40 million to sign the forward from Bologna last season, Manchester United may be open to a lower fee, with Inter hoping that his underwhelming Premier League campaign will help drive the price down.
