Super Bowl LIX Odds, Preview & Prediction

Super Bowl LIX is scheduled to kick off at 6:30pm ET on Sunday, February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

There's a lot on the line in this one, as the back-to-back defending champion Kansas City Chiefs will look to pull off the NFL's first ever three-peat during the Super Bowl era. On the other side of things, the Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to exact revenge after falling to Kansas City in the Big Game just two seasons ago, 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII.

Kansas City is currently listed as a short 1.5-point favorite in the rematch over at BetMGM Sportsbook. Bettors can snag Chiefs moneyline at -120 or opt to back the Eagles at +100. The game's total is listed at 48.5 points, which is much lower than the combined score of their previous meeting on the big stage.

As far as a prediction goes, there's no question that it is always a tall task to go against an Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes-led unit. It feels like this style of play eventually has to catch up with Kansas City, who will be put to the test against a team that matches up fairly well with them. Considering they already took down the San Francisco 49ers in last year's Super Bowl LIV rematch, the play here is to back Philadelphia in hopes that they aren't able to do so again.
