Everything to know about FanDuel's 'Kick of Destiny' 2

FanDuel is back with again with its "Kick of Destiny" -- Rob Gronkowski's attempt to kick a 25-yard field goal so that bettors could share $10,000,000 in bonus bets.

Last year, FanDuel said anyone who opted into the promo and bet $5 on the Chiefs or Eagles moneyline would share $10,000,000 in bonus bets if Gronk made the kick. So if a million people opted in, they'd each get $10 in bonus bets.

Gronk missed the kick -- and the broadcast of the whole thing was a little weird -- but they paid the bonus bets out anyway. Most people got about $10 in bonus bets on Monday after the Super Bowl.

This year, it will work a little differently.

You'll have to head to FanDuel and choose whether or not Gronk will make or miss the kick -- the selection is easy to find, as they're promoting it quite heavily. If you're right, you'll share the $10,000,000 in bonus bets with everyone else who was on the same side.

Gronk said he's been practicing three times a week and hitting more than 90% of his field goals from 25 yards out.

Given his competitive nature and that he wanted to do it again, I selected "he'll make it" at FanDuel.

Signing Up at FanDuel

If you haven't signed up for FanDuel yet, you can also get $200 in bonus bets if your first $5 bet wins as a new user. That goes for new FanDuel users in Illinois, or Vermont, which just launched last month.

The advantage, unlike some other sportsbooks, is that the $5 bet can be at any price. So it makes sense to take a huge favorite in college basketball or soccer to give yourself the best chance at locking in the bonus bets. Barcelona is -450 against Granada on Sunday, for example.

If you bet early Sunday, you'll have the bonus bets in time to use for the Super Bowl. FanDuel's terms and conditions say you'll get the bonus bets in 72 hours, but it's almost always right away, from my experience.

Download the FanDuel Sportsbook app. There's a separate app for fantasy, so be sure to get the right one.
Sign up and enter all your personal info. Make sure it matches your photo ID -- name, address, birthday. If it doesn't, it may take a few hours or even days for FanDuel to verify your account.
Make a $10 deposit
Make a $5 bet on anything, but try to take a huge favorite, since there's no requirement on what type bet you must make.
If your bet wins, you'll get $200 in bonus bets.
Use the bonus bets on the Super Bowl or any other game within seven days of issuance
