Controversial “Shark Whisperer” Comes to Netflix (Trailer)

The logline for the film reads:

Meanwhile, onscreen, Ramsey continues her quest of demystifying the dangers of sharks by swimming with them, both from the safety of a cage and without. And it appears the documentary explores the pushback Ramsey receives through her viral, divisive social media presence.

“I don’t see any sharks, but nice body,” writes one commenter.

“You will die one day doing this,” writes another.

Ramsey’s work – despite controversial responses online – has sparked real change. For instance, most recently, she helped push for a ban on shark fishing in Hawaii, which went into effect this year.
