High pressure system brings light to moderate winds over the waters. Winds will become more southerly along the Big Sur and Monterey Bay region into Friday. Otherwise, gentle breezes out of the north and northwest continue through the weekend first portion of the weekend creating relatively calm conditions over the waters. Dry weather continues through the forecast period as high pressure dominates.

FRI
NW winds 5 to 10 knots. Wind waves 4 to 5 ft. NW swell around 4 ft at 12 seconds and S around 2 ft at 12 seconds.

FRI NIGHT
NW winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves around 4 ft. Mixed swell NW 3 to 4 ft at 12 seconds and S around 2 ft at 12 seconds.

SAT
NW winds around 10 knots. Wind waves around 3 ft. NW swell around 4 ft at 11 seconds and S around 2 ft at 11 seconds.

SAT NIGHT
NW winds 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves around 3 ft. NW swell around 4 ft at 10 seconds and S around 2 ft at 10 seconds.

SUN
NW winds 15 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots. Wind waves 4 to 5 ft. NW swell 5 to 7 ft and SW around 2 ft. NOAA
