Surf, Skate, BMX Gone Wild! Swatch Nines Surf 2025 Lineup

Last year the SURFER staff was lucky to attend the inaugural Swatch Nines Surf event in Waco, TX, and we're absolutely stoked to be going back this year. The froth levels redlined after seeing this year's invite list of athletes, a certifiable who's who of action sports elite.

This summer expands on last year's debut by bringing surfing, skateboarding, and BMX into one multi-sport spectacle. Set over three days in a brand new custom setup at the famous Waco Surf, the 35 invited legends will shoot to thrill in a format designed by riders, for riders. Last year's recap, and this year's confirmed lineup, are below...but who knows who else may join the fun (I'm looking at you McConaughey, alright alright alright).

SURFERS:

Earlier this year the crew of surfers, skaters, and bikers gathered in Encinitas to design the ultimate set up for this year's event. Call it a radical workshop of the highest order that led to the blueprint for this year's event.

“There’s nothing else like Swatch Nines,” said Noah Beschen. “It’s rare to be at an event where the only goal is to get creative, experiment, surf and skate with your friends. We dreamed up some incredible new concepts this summer, which I can’t wait to see all of these riders get creative with.”

“Seeing everything come to life is the best part, and seeing everyone's genuine joy in their eyes, like when they were playing with the extra ball, the dock for runoffs into a barrel, into an air section,” said Coco Ho. “Not having the competition is phenomenal for most of the surfers here. You get to see everyone’s character shine.”
