Maui waterman and big wave surfer Kai Lenny pretty much does it all. Which makes sense, since his middle name literally is Waterman.

He's an eight-time stand-up paddling world champ who rips on a short board, foil surfs, windsurfs, kitesurfs, and tow-surfs monster waves.

Now, he can add electric surfboards to his list.

In his latest vlog above, Lenny does something new. Captioning it, he wrote:

"The top electric surfboard brand 'ESurf' came out to Maui to let me ride their latest and greatest creation. I tried to find its limits and there was so much more I discovered it could do that I couldn't have imagined.

"It's not the most traditional surfboard shape but is designed to make waves where there are none. A super cool experience and I'm stoked to gain another perspective on the water."

The video's pretty straight to the point and shows Lenny playing with a new toy for almost six minutes. No dialogue, just some obscure music as the soundtrack.

Think it looks fun? They're just a little different than the average surfboard.

The batteries take around two and a half hours to charge, last about 45 minutes going full throttle, and speed maxes out at 40 miles per hour.

The price tag? Around 4,500 Euros, or almost $5,000.

Lenny's viewers were a little on the fence about the new technology. Here's a few of their comments:

"65km/h is wild! Sick flips. And doing it switch foot too?!!"

"Amazing. Best feature is the underwater moments. James Bond doesn’t even have one of these!"

"Interesting that Kai chose to ride this goofy while he (I think) is a natural regular foot. I wonder what his thinking was about that choice? Ofc, he can ride anything however he wants and does it well."
